The core team comprising of professionals from various fields (Social Work, Medical, Legal, Engineering, Management, Teaching) is the key enabler deciding the strategy, setting direction for the work being done, managing and reporting on the work.
Team of dedicated youth from various streams of Education (BA, B Ed, B Com, B Sc, MA etc) drives the work execution. The people chosen undergo 3 week residential training program from Art of Living that focuses on personality development, communication and leadership skills. Upon successful completion of the training, selected candidates (Yuvacharyas) are assigned to one of the community centers (slums adopted) or village in any of the districts. These Yuvacharyas carry out the Community development work in Slums / Villages.
The current work will complement Government programs and will work in partnership with the Government. We will also involve the larger volunteer base of Art of Living and NGOs working in the area during the work execution.
