Flood Relief - Latest Status (Dec 25 2009)
Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU ) signed between the MICO BOSCH Limited and Divine Karnataka Project for construction of 140 houses in Khairavadagi Village, Bagalkot District. All necessary approvals from Governement of Karnataka has been obtained, and the construction of houses to start soon. Bhoomi Puja for the proposed construction is done.
Flood Relief - Latest Status (Oct 22 2009)
On Oct-21st we have dispatched one full truck load of relief materials consisting of rice, sugar, clothes, vessels and other items valued at Rs. 12 lakhs to flood affected areas of Bagalkot and Bijapur. This is the second such dispatch from the Divine Karnataka Project.
The DKP has already sent 220 water filters, one truck load of zinc sheets and bambaoos to these areas. The DKP volunteers are stationed at 23 villages and supervising relief activities and engaged in trauma care activities.
